GENERIC STRUCTURE
- Identification : identifies phenomenom (person, place, or thing) that will be described. (berisi tentang identifikasi hal atau orang yang dideskripsikan).
- Description : describes parts, qualities, characteristics, etc. (berisi penjelasan, penggambaran tentang hal atau seseorang dengan menyebutkan beberapa sifat).
CHARACTERISTICS / LANGUAGE FEATURES
- Specific participant : tidak bersifat umum
- Penggunaan adjective (kata sifat) untuk memperjelas noun (kata benda)
- Penggunaan simple present tense
- Action verb : terdapat kata kerja yang menunjukkan sebuah kegiatan. Contoh: Run, Sleep, Walk dll.

THE SHEEP
The sheep is found in every quarter of the globe, and is one of the profitable animals that mankind prossesses. The wool of the sheep is very valuable, and most of our clothing is made from it: that produced by the breed called merino sheep is particularly fine, and fetches a high price.
The skin is also of service, and forms covers for many of your school-book. Sheep-washing and shearing are busy times for the farmer, and are very interesting sights.
Young sheeps are called lambs, you have often seen the gentle little things skipping about in the meadows.
